NUCLEAR ENERGY

                                                                NUCLEAR ENERGY

Def. of Fission: The nuclei of radioactive atoms are split into two or more fragments.
Def. of Fusion: The combining of the nucleus of atoms to create energy.

Examples of how Fission is used for:
               - To generate electric power
               - Making nuclear weapons

Example of how Fusion is used for:
               - Process that powers the sun and star.
               - Very expansive process that requires high temperatures to occur,
so no power plants are being built.

Advantages for using Nuclear energy:
- It creates a lot of energy.
- It uses low amount of carbon dioxide that means more green house.

Disadvantages for using Nuclear energy:
- It creates animal nutation.
- If something wrong happens using them it explodes making deaths.

Nuclear energy is divided by two, fusion and fission.
Fusion is combining of the nucleus of atoms to create energy.
Fission is the nuclei of radioactive atoms are split into two or more fragments.
