Oil/ Petroleum or crude oil is a liquid mixture of complex hydrocarbon compounds. The 2 disadvantages are bubble gum has crude oil and it is made of plastics. The 2 advantages are gasoline is made from crude oil and kerosene has crude oil.

GEOTHERMAL Is the energy produced by heat from Earth's interior. Geothermal works by heating rock formations deep within the ground. Groundwater absorbs this heat and forms hot springs and geysers where the water reaches Earth's surface. Geothermal can be used to produce energy as heat and electricity, to warm buildings and cool buildings.Geothermal is good in some ways because it provides heat and electrical energy for us. Geothermal also has some disadvantages because it puts out pollution that occurs during production of the technology needed to capture it, and the technology is also expensive to make and maintain.

Natural Gas

Natural Gas Natural gas is formed by mixing hydrocarbon and gaseous and forms from old, decayed sea organisims. It is used to heast fuel and produce electricity. Some advantages are that we use it for vehicular devices(cars). We also use it for heating fuel, wich we use to power our cars. One disadvantage is that it creates a tremendindous amount of pollotuion.

Geo-Thermal energy Kaden Bailey

Geo-thermal The water in the geyser above is heated by geothermal energy. It is energy produced by heat from rocks interior. Geothermal energy heats rock formations from deep within the ground.Groundwater absorbs this heat and forms hot springs and geysers where the water reaches Earth's surface. It is used for the air-conditioning which is very important. It will be used for billions of years. It takes a lot of energy to make it work so by the end of the process you end up not getting that much energy out of it. It takes a while to cool. 🗺🙏

Coal- a nonrenewable resource

Image
Coal is a nonrenewable resource that is a solid compound of the remains of swamp plants. Coal can be used for many different things such as heating buildings and producing electricity. Coal is formed when plants near a swamp soak in heat energy from the sun and when they die and fall in the water. When they get buried and sit there from millions of years the plants get so pressureized where they release that heat from the sun to change chemically and physically. Once the coal gets extracted from the ground the coal is burned to create hot steam. This hot steam turns a turbine which powers the electric generator to the transformer to create electricity. 2 advantages are that coal is very abundant

Natural Gas

Natural Gas is formed by a mixture of Gaseous hydrocarbons                                                                        Advantages produces heat for car homes and heats up water.                                                      disadvantages its nonrenwable and creates polution.

Wind

Image
Wind Energy          Wind Energy uses the force of moving air to drive an electric generator or do other work! Wind energy is renewable because the wind will blow as long as the sun shines onto the earth. Energy from the wind is generated when the moving air turns turbine blades that drive an electric generator. Wind farms are lots of wind turbines in one area. Some disadvantages include; needing to be in a place with lots of wind, and Equipment is very expensive. Some advantages are; they do not create pollution, and wind mills cna be used to grind grain.

Solar Energy

SOLAR ENERGY Solar energy is energy from the sun in the form of radiation.    Solar panels get the rays and makes electricity for our homes. Advantages                                                   Disadvantages  warms building                                pollution pollution free                                   not reliable on cloudy days  available every day of the year       needs lots of sunlight renewabl...

Petroleum

Image
OIL: A viscous liquid derived from petroleum, especially for use as a fuel or lubricant. Advantages: Safest and most efficient to heat a home. Very stable, non-explosive product. Disadvantages: Non-Renewable source of energy. Produces Carbon-Dioxide Gas

Solar

Image
Solar Energy ↗ In the picture above, the sun's light shines down onto the solar panels, and the silicon solar panel material collect/absorb the photons. Free electrons then form in the solar cells and power is created. Then, the power can be either sent to a power plant to distribute, or the power can be used for people's homes if they have their own solar panels. Solar energy is a renewable resource used to provide electricity. It has advantages and downfalls, and here are some of them.                                                                        Adva...

Solar

SOLAR ENERGY!!!! Solar energy is energy received by Earth from the sun in the form of radiation. Some advantages are that it is renewable, it produces heat, and finally electricity. Some disadvantages are it is very expensive to install and pay for solar pannels and it can produce pollution because they are made in factories and the factories make smoke and that causes pollution. A solar panel absorbs the sun and is used to make energy and heat for your home!

Nuclear Energy

Image
Nuclear energy is used with fusion and fission. It is used in many ways like, process that powers stars and large amounts of energy as heat and radiation etc. 2 DISIADVANTAGES :Dangerous  water :Radioactive 2 ADVANTAGES :Lowering green house gas emissions :Less use of fossil fuels

biomass energy

Image
Biomass Biomass is organic matter from plants and from animal waste that contains chemical energy. Biomass can be burned to produce  energy. Biomass is usually used to cook food, provide  warmth,or power an engine. An advantage of biomass is that is  renewable, that it is inexpensive to use A disadvantage is that it produce pollutants Another disadvantage is that it takes a long  time to renew. when it is burned, and that it is renewed slowly.

Hydroelectric energy

Image
Hydroelectric energy is energy mostly used for electricity and it is used when there is flowing water that usually come from a larger body of water flows downhill through a dam through the penstock until it reaches and turns the turbine which turns the the generator which is electric . So basically the flowing or moving water that has kinetic energy creates electricity to go through the transformer and deliver electricity. 2 advantages of this is that nothing burns so it is completely clean and that in our world we have water as an abundant natural resource. 2 disadvantages are that building the dams and technology are expensive and these dams block the fish from getting to the other side of the river and hurt water ecosystems so people had to build these special fish ladders so the fish can pass through.

Hydroelectric

Image
Hydroelectric energy is energy harness from the movement of water through a turbine. Hydroelectric power is created when the water flows downward into the dam and spins a turbine creating energy there the water flows out of the dam and into the river. Some advantages of hydroelectric energy are, it can be used to generate electricity and power equipment. Another advantage is that the water cycle is driven from the sun so the water put into the river evaporates and rains on higher elevations. It is renewable but we need to conserve it still because we could use it to a point where we are dumping out more water that the sun can evaporate. Some disadvantages are,has to be in locations with large reliable amounts of flowing water. Another downside is dams and technology are expensive to build and maintain as well as it can block the movement of fish between the sea and their spawning grounds.

coal

I am going to blog about coal for you people looking at this Coal is formed from swamp like matter with time, pressure, and heat. 2 Advantages of coal is that it heats some homes, and powers most cars. 2 disadvantages of coal is that it is non renewable, and causes global warming.
