Solar energy is energy from the sun in the form of radiation.
Solar panels get the rays and makes electricity for our homes.

- pollution free not reliable on cloudy days
- available every day of the year needs lots of sunlight
- renewable expensive
- easy to install
- depends on the weather
- cannot be used at night
- about 30% of it is reflected back to space
